You don’t have to be a gardening expert to be in the club. You just need to be curious and interested in learning about the natural world around us. So many of our members are passionate environmentalists, and that informs the speakers we host and the projects we undertake. We grow gardens, yes, and we also grow our own level of understanding of the natural world. And we build friendships along the way. admin / July 17, 2026
I joined the club many years ago to have a guaranteed monthly respite from my children for a couple of hours each month. Since then, I’ve become captivated by learning about our environment and the Garden Club has grown to reflect the environmental needs of our community. We try to educate ourselves and the community on best practices for the treatment of our home gardens and public spaces for the benefit of humans and nature. I love meeting wonderful people, many of whom have become life-long friends and having fun together while doing good and celebrating the beauty of our surroundings! admin / July 17, 2026
