I love that the club represents a great diversity of interests related to gardening and is inclusive and welcoming. I have formed many friendships with people who inspire me! We have always been involved in environmental and community initiatives and our newest committee is the Environmental Awareness Committee, which has included a book club and promoting what we can do in our own yards to help the planet, especially planting natives and reducing turf grass and the use of pesticides. I am so proud of the many things the club has done since our founding and I am so excited about what we’ll do moving forward!
